The falling standards at the Telegraph

Readers of the Telegraph will already be well aware of the organ’s dumbing down in content. But anyone looking at this story today will be wondering if editing standards can get any worse… The story title is fine, as you can see in the screenshot below, but how many errors can you spot in the sub headline?

    It’s not just dumbing down which is bad enough, it’s the pages of utter drivel: none of which could conceivably be called news which almost completely fills it. Large pictures pad out the so called stories, so that a page can be read at a second’s glance. Only the business pages have anything remotely well written. The problem I have is that the alternatives are just as bad. Surely its days must be numbered.
