Leigh keeps insisting that what he did was in “the public interest”. There is no “public interest” defence WRT phone hacking, hence he has announced publicly that he has committed a criminal offence. Will the CPS come for him? Of course they won’t. The CPS, of course, is headed by lifelong Leftie in Keir Starmer.
